Chapter Fifteen: Clearing the Zombies! Dividing into Two Teams!
“Hiss!!!”
“Roar!!!”
Amid the flames, the lick-eaters emitted terrifying, inhuman roars. Alice, Matt, James, and the others shuddered upon hearing them.
They had just watched the related footage and knew exactly how dreadful these monsters were.
Apart from being uncontrollable, these creatures were truly killing machines!
“If all these monsters break loose, can we even survive?”
Recalling the lick-eaters’ strength, they all answered in unison: no.
These monsters were so elusive that even bullets rarely hit them. Even with their utmost vigilance from the start, they would most likely be wiped out in the end.
Not to mention, before now, they had no knowledge whatsoever.
Venturing recklessly into a monster’s den without any information—what good outcome could there be?
“Luckily, we ran into Avery!”
Everyone sincerely thanked Yu Fei.
If it weren’t for him, ninety-nine percent of them would already be zombie fodder.
“All right, time is tight. Let’s head to the next location immediately.”
After confirming that all the lick-eaters had been thoroughly incinerated, Yu Fei led the group onward.
Originally, they planned to split up for efficiency, but Yu Fei worried that their lack of zombie knowledge could lead to casualties, so he decided to personally guide them.
“Zombies may be the undead, but their movements still rely on their nervous system. Their weak points are the brain and spine; if you break either, they die!”
“If you find aiming for the spine difficult… never mind. Just remember, whenever you encounter a zombie—shoot for the head directly!”
“Aim for their head, like this!”
“Bang!!!”
Yu Fei fired a shot, blowing the head off a zombie that had just risen, causing it to collapse instantly.

With over a hundred zombies in this laboratory, if he could eliminate them all, he would gain over a hundred merit points.

Unfortunately, time was limited.
They already didn’t have much time, and if they continued to approach each zombie individually, they would surely attract the attention of Umbrella Corporation, which would be disastrous.
Even splitting into two groups, if they weren’t fast, it wouldn’t work.

The zombies in this bioterror world weren’t like those in World War Z—slow and relatively weak.
Even an ordinary person could handle two or three zombies at once if unafraid and in open areas.
At this stage, only the lick-eaters posed a real threat.

“Zombie dogs!”
Yu Fei suddenly remembered and quickly warned them.
“These zombie dogs are very fast. Be extra cautious if you encounter them!”
Though not particularly strong, their speed exceeded normal zombies, and their small size made them hard to hit.

If he appeared before her now, she might very well shoot him herself without Yu Fei’s intervention!

Yu Fei said goodbye and turned away without looking back until they disappeared from sight.
Yu Fei stopped in a deserted corner.
