On Wednesday morning, bright and early, Li Fengyu rode his bicycle to work. When he arrived at the company entrance, he locked his bike and stretched lazily before taking the file bag from his basket and heading inside. However, the atmosphere today seemed different from usual. Li Fengyu quickened his pace, noticing that the employees appeared to be subtly watching him. Unsure if he was being paranoid or if something was amiss, he soon understood the situation the moment he entered the trading room.

As Li Fengyu placed his belongings down in the office and prepared to check on things in the trading room, he pushed open the door to find Lin Chu sitting on one side with a look of worry, while Li Sen appeared tired but was calmly directing the work. Approaching Lin Chu, Li Fengyu asked in confusion, “Young President, has something happened?”

Lin Chu only lifted his head slightly upon hearing Li Fengyu’s voice. Though burdened with heavy thoughts, he forced a faint smile and said, “Fengyu, you’re here. It seems our company has hit a tough spot.”

Li Fengyu’s first reaction was not fear or panic but anger. He couldn’t believe anyone would dare to sabotage him, and even more infuriating was the thought that someone was blocking his path to success. Li Fengyu was a man of extremes; whatever he set his mind to, he must achieve. Any obstacle must be overcome, any enemy dealt with—no matter what. So, seeing Lin Chu and Li Sen in such a state, his initial response was fury. Still, he forced himself to stay calm and said, “It’s alright, take your time. We’ll solve whatever problems there are. As long as we stand together, there’s no difficulty we can’t overcome.”

Lin Chu then began to explain slowly: “After all this time of trading and preparation, we were ready to launch. The initial accumulation and shake-out phases were complete. But today, despite a favorable market, the price simply wouldn’t rise…”

Li Fengyu interrupted, “Too much selling pressure, right? Then it probably means the preliminary work wasn’t done properly.”

Lin Chu shook his head. “It doesn’t seem like that. We’ve already done investigations, and iron ore was a project I proposed to the shareholders—there’s no way I wouldn’t take it seriously. But today was strange. No matter what, the price just wouldn’t rise. Even after deploying fifty million yuan, it only went up by eight points. The resistance above is too strong. Every time it hits the round number of 750, it gets hammered back down immediately. Ordinary retail investors simply don’t have the volume or capital for that…”

At that moment, Li Sen stepped in. “Also, during the accumulation phase a few days ago, I sensed clear signs of someone snatching shares, but I didn’t take it seriously.”

Listening to their report, Li Fengyu threw up his hands and sat down on the sofa, smiling faintly. “Hahaha, looks like we’ve been targeted.”

Lin Chu and Li Sen exchanged glances, and Li Fengyu’s eyes gleamed with a sly, almost sinister light. “Business is like warfare; anything can happen. It was my oversight not to anticipate this. We’re in the middle of trading, and they’ve come in to sabotage us, trying to take money from our pockets. That’s just dirty. If they want to touch our money, they should think twice. Business is full of scheming and deceit for profit—nothing surprising there—but launching a hidden attack is underhanded. I want to find out which company is behind this within three days. I’ll meet them personally and make them pay.”

Hearing Li Fengyu’s resolute words, Lin Chu and Li Sen finally breathed easier.
