Fang Youcai nodded slightly. "I've already reported to Director Yang. I reckon he's notified our comrades in the Northwest region to head over and investigate by now!"
He then placed his bag on the table and unzipped it, releasing a strong aroma of roasted meat.
Xiao Lü's eyes widened. "Barbecue?"
Fang Youcai chuckled and pulled out a dozen beers. "And there’s 8 plus 1 more!"
Lin Yue instantly frowned. "No drinking during work hours!"
Xiao Lü’s expression visibly fell in disappointment.
But Fang Youcai spoke firmly, "Captain Lin, you don’t have to drink."
"The three of us will!"
"I’ll arrange someone to come take over soon."
"We’ve been busy for days, finally accomplished something big, can’t we celebrate a little?"
"Honestly!"
He popped open a bottle, ignoring Lin Yue’s displeased glance, and glanced at the livestream screen. "Hic~"
"That looks a bit familiar."
"Who’s the person lying down?"
Xiao Lü chewed on a skewer. "Third Master!"
"Liang said he was moved up there by the ghost baby."
"Anyway, it’s pretty scary."
Fang Youcai’s face visibly tightened with tension. "Hic!"
"Ghost baby?"
"The ghost baby in the tomb chamber?"
Xiao Lü took a big bite and pointed at Liang Jingyi. "Liang knows."
Liang Jingyi held a skewer but seemed to have no appetite, lowering her head and pursing her lips. "Captain Fang."
"Should we notify Director Yang? If we delay, those remaining three tomb raiders might die in there too."
Fang Youcai’s eyes widened. "That brutal?"
Inside the ancient, rustic mansion.
Han Sanjin and Jin Lian stared at the TV with strange expressions.
When they clearly saw the corpse, Jin Lian looked shocked!
Han Sanjin swore, "Damn!"
"Is Third Mazi’s life that tough?"
"Not even ghosts can kill him!"
Jin Lian squinted and grabbed Han Sanjin’s arm. "Wait."
"I think it looks like he’s breathless?"
"Right, he’s breathless!"
Han Sanjin focused and indeed saw Third Master motionless. After a moment, he exhaled deeply. "Damn it!"
"This bastard really died!"
"I'm going to celebrate tonight with fireworks!"
But Jin Lian shook her head. "Third Mazi is dead but the thing he’s looking for hasn’t appeared."
"What’s there to celebrate?"
Han Sanjin’s eyes glazed over, then he snapped back. "Oh yeah!"
"Those four cryptic phrases are the location of Li Chunfeng’s ancient tomb."
"Third Mazi must have figured it out!"
"There must be clues to finding Li Chunfeng’s tomb inside the Warring States tomb."
"We can’t lose this lead. We have to find a way to get to the Warring States tomb!"
"Otherwise, this is our only clue gone!"
He was about to call someone when the woman roughly stopped him. "Are you stupid?"

"They’re still live-streaming!"
"Maybe the police have already found the Warring States tomb’s location."
"If you show yourself, you’ll get caught on the spot!"
Han Sanjin was anxious. "This can’t work, that can’t work!"
"What do you suggest then?"
Jin Lian’s eyes rolled, then she smiled lightly. "As long as Third Mazi is dead, it’s easier to handle!"
"His nephew and brothers aren’t much to worry about."
"If these three brothers find what we need, then we have a way to get it!"
"Judging by the three of them, I suspect Third Mazi didn’t tell them the real purpose of going to the Warring States tomb."
"Now that Third Mazi is gone, we’re the only ones who know the secret!"
"This is our chance!"
Han Sanjin blinked, seemingly understanding, then cursed, "Damn it, so I have to help those three brothers get out alive?"
Jin Lian laughed seductively. "Exactly!"
Inside the ancient tomb.
Zhou Cheng felt his head buzzing. His Third Uncle lay before him, eyes closed, face as usual but without any breath.
"Third Uncle."
Recalling past memories, a pang of sorrow rose within.
Though prepared mentally, seeing this scene was still unbearable.
"Xuan-ge."
"Third Uncle is gone."
"Wuwuwu!"
Terry patted Zhou Cheng’s shoulder and wiped away tears.
"Death is irreversible!"
"Maybe one day I’ll be like Third Master."
Zhou Cheng wiped his tears. "Third Master died to save us. No matter what, we have to bring his body out!"
Terry nodded. "That’s a must!"
"We can’t let Third Master be buried in the wilderness!"
He reached out to pick him up, but a tall, skinny man hurriedly stopped him. "No."
"We haven’t found a way out yet."
"Even if we find one, this wild mountain—carrying a corpse—are you sure you can leave safely?"
Terry turned to glare at him. "What do you mean?"
Seeing Terry about to lose temper, the man quickly soothed, "Don’t rush!"
"I mean, this is the Warring States tomb—it’s probably the resting place of an ancient feudal lord!"
"A feng shui treasure spot."
"Even if you carry Third Master’s body out, are you sure you can find a better resting place for him?"
Terry was stunned.
Zhou Cheng looked confused too.
The tall man continued, "Ancient generals took pride in dying on the battlefield, wrapped in their war cloaks!"
"We may be tomb raiders, but our ancestor was a general under Cao Cao, the mighty Wei Emperor!"
"To die in the tomb, to rest in the flesh—that’s an honor!"
"Even if we go out and tell the tale, it’ll be a legend in the underworld!"
"Everyone who hears it will give a thumbs up!"
Terry blinked, looked at Zhou Cheng. "I think he makes sense!"
He pointed to the luminous pearl above them. "Look, there’s even a pearl to keep the light burning!"

"If this were outside, even if you were the richest man alive, you wouldn’t get this treatment!"
The tall man added, "Yeah, even if the archaeological team finds this tomb in the future, Third Master’s remains will be displayed in a museum!"
"If you can’t be remembered forever, at least the world can admire him!"
Zhou Cheng blinked. "You make a good point."
The tall man relaxed seeing their agreement and said, "It’s a blessing Third Master’s nephew has come to understand."
"Sigh."
"No matter what, Third Master died saving the three of us."
"Though I don’t say it, it’s in my heart."
"When Third Master was alive, I remember he kept talking about finding the main burial chamber."
"I guess he was searching for something important."
"Now that he’s gone, I will risk my life to accompany him and fulfill his last wish!"
Terry grabbed his shoulder firmly, eyes sharp. "Good brother!"
"I was wrong about you before!"
The tall man waved his hand. "We’re brothers by life and death, no need for words like that!"
"Hurry up and get the stuff out."
Terry was puzzled. "What stuff?"
The tall man frowned. "A map or some token, something like that?"
"Third Master could precisely locate the Warring States tomb in these vast mountains, he wasn’t guessing!"
Terry frowned. "I heard Third Master mention he came here to find some 'Heaven’s gift'."
"But I don’t know what that is."
"Do you, nephew?"
Zhou Cheng shook his head. "Third Uncle didn’t let me join before, never told me."
"But before coming here, when I used his computer, I saw he was researching the records about the 'Twenty-four Purple Mouth Purple Gold Bells'."
The tall man shuddered at those words. "Twenty-four Purple Gold Bells."
"Sounds like something extraordinary!"
"Too bad there’s no clue."
He reluctantly rubbed his chin, gaze slowly falling on the corpse. "Hmm."
"Could the clue be in Third Master’s arms?"
Terry’s eyes lit up. "Don’t say it, that might actually be possible!"
Livestream room!
Listening to their conversation, Zhang Xuan frowned deeply.
His gaze held a strange, indescribable look.
Crying over the fox corpse as if it were Third Master?
The more he listened, the more something felt off. Even the barrage of comments kept mentioning Third Master, no one spoke a word for the fox corpse!
When they talked about searching the fox corpse’s arms for clues, he gasped sharply!
Suddenly, everything clicked!
These people had fallen under the fox corpse’s illusion!
He had just acquired the Golden Eye, which granted immunity to illusions!
Yet among the 300,000 viewers in the livestream, not a single person noticed anything unusual.
This fox corpse’s illusion was truly terrifying!
He slammed his palm on the table!
The water cup on the table bounced!
"Brothers, stop!"
