The kiss came fiercely and domineeringly, as though he intended to make up for every kiss he had owed her over the past few days.

Nan Zhi widened her eyes and stared at him in disbelief.

Sensing her resistance, he bit her lips several more times before finally releasing her.

When he turned around, he saw the little rascal sitting in a chair, sipping a drink and staring at him unblinkingly with round, dark eyes.

Nan Zhi’s cheeks burned slightly. She glared at the culprit, then used going to the restroom as an excuse and hurried out of the private room.

The kiss had nearly suffocated her. She needed to step outside and catch her breath.

After Nan Zhi left, Mu Sihan raised an eyebrow at Xiao Kai.

“Your mommy is my woman now. I don’t need to report kissing her to you, do I, you little rascal?”

Xiao Kai put down his drink and climbed onto the chair, but even then he was still shorter than the cool uncle. Slightly annoyed, he drew a stern little face and reprimanded him solemnly.

“Since you prepared a birthday surprise for Beautiful Zhizhi, I’ll forgive you this once. But there must not be a next time. Only her future husband is allowed to kiss Beautiful Zhizhi on the lips.”

Mu Sihan fell silent.

“I can tell that you have no intention of marrying Beautiful Zhizhi. Any kiss that does not come with marriage as a precondition is nothing but sexual harassment.”

Mu Sihan let out a cold snort.

“Kid, if you weren’t that woman’s son, I’d kick you out right now.”

Xiao Kai fell silent.

What a violent man! Picking on children!

Nan Zhi opened the door of the private room and went to the restroom.

Standing before the sink, she turned on the faucet and washed her face.

After the heat in her cheeks gradually faded, she pulled the bullet-shaped necklace from inside her collar.

Frowning slightly, she tried to tug it off. But if that hot-tempered man discovered it, he would certainly fly into a rage.

What a headache!

She did not understand why she had allowed herself to be controlled by him.

Furious, the man pinned her against the sink.

Nan Zhi recognized him. She did not push him away. Instead, she braced both hands against the sink, curved her red lips, and gave him a half-smile.

“What a coincidence. Is your mother-in-law holding a birthday banquet here too?”

It was only after leaving the private room that Nan Zhi realized this magnificent, glittering establishment was Imperial Court Grand Hotel, the most luxurious hotel in Ning City.

Fu Shaoxiu glared at Nan Zhi with bloodshot brown eyes. The veins on his forehead throbbed as he seethed with rage.

“You came out of Private Room One? So the person celebrating a birthday in there was you. Nan Zhi, you’ve already slept with me, and I even had flowers delivered to your office today. Why can’t you behave yourself? Why are you still as cheap as you were four years ago?”
