Chapter 163: Breaking Up
Nanzhi had also been chubby when she was a child. Although her weight gain was caused by medication and she would slim down again once she stopped taking it, she deeply understood the pain of being overweight.
Yanhua had shared a lot with Nanzhi. It was not that she hadn't tried; she had attempted countless weight loss methods, but she simply couldn't lose weight.
After exercising for too long, her heart couldn't bear it.
After starving for too long, her stomach couldn't bear it.
Yanhua was utterly desperate. She buried her face in her hands, her tears streaming down into her lips. "Zhihi, I am destined to be looked down upon for the rest of my life. I am really so useless..."
Nanzhi pulled Yanhua into her embrace and gently wiped away her tears. "Huahua, do you trust me? As long as you stick to the diet plans I researched, I am certain you will return to a normal weight."
"Re-really?"
Nanzhi nodded. "Be a good girl and listen to me. From now on, even if you are sad, do not drink or smoke. Video chat with me every day, and I will supervise you."
"Zhihi, being your fan is such a blessing. Thank you."

Yanhua was heavily intoxicated. In her groggy state, a tall and straight figure approached her and lifted her onto his back from the ground.
She was so heavy, yet he was actually able to carry her.
***
Yanhua slept in the car and woke up when they arrived at the hotel. The man wanted to carry her downstairs on his back, but she had sobered up a little and refused him.
She struggled to slide out of the car and looked at the man wearing glasses standing outside. He looked handsome and scholarly. But in truth, the slender, phoenix-like eyes hidden behind his lenses were ice-cold and devoid of warmth.
With one hand casually tucked into his trouser pocket, he watched Yanhua get out of the car, radiating an aura that warned strangers to stay away.
Yanhua staggered toward the hotel. Bo Yan followed closely behind her, and once she entered the elevator, he instructed the front desk to send a sobering hangover tea to her room.
Yanhua stepped out of the elevator, pressed a hand to her throbbing forehead, and walked toward her room.
A couple, locked in a passionate embrace, approached from behind, eager to return to their room.
Yanhua was blocking their way, making it impossible for the pair to pass side by side. The man glanced at the sturdily built Yanhua blocking his path and instantly wore a look of utter disdain. "Which pigsty did this fat pig escape from? Hurry back to the animal pen and stop blocking the way, will you?"
The man's voice was loud and harsh. Even though Yanhua was drunk, she could still understand that he was insulting her, and her face flushed crimson in an instant.
She lowered her head, pressed her body slightly against the wall, and made way for the people behind her to pass first.
However, the man had a vicious mouth and lacked any basic decency. As he brushed past Yanhua, he added another remark: "You're so fat that your chest and belly blend into one; you probably won't be able to get married in this lifetime!"
Just as the man finished speaking, someone suddenly kicked him hard in the back.
The man stumbled forward several heavy steps, nearly crashing face-first onto the ground. "F***, who the hell kicked me?"
The moment the man spun around, he took a brutal punch to the face.

Bo Yan grabbed the man by the collar, hauled him right in front of Yanhua, and kicked the back of his knee so hard that the man buckled. "Apologize if you don't want to die!"
The man lifted his head and caught sight of Bo Yan, whose expression was completely indifferent yet emanated an aura of bloodshed and slaughter. The man shuddered involuntarily.
It was obvious at a glance that this person was not someone to be trifled with. Assessing the situation, the man hurriedly apologized, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
Yanhua looked at Bo Yan—she disliked him in many ways, yet whenever anyone bullied her, he would always step forward to stand up for her—and her heart was instantly torn apart with agonizing pain.
She closed her eyes, uttered not a single word, and hurried toward her room.
Bo Yan gave chase.
Before Yanhua could slam the door shut, a large palm braced against the doorframe. "Yanhua."
Yanhua closed her eyes as hot tears spilled over and rolled down her cheeks. "Bo Yan, let's break up. When we return, I will explain everything clearly to Daddy, and he won't give you any trouble."
