Nan Shiqing had awakened.

Mu Yinyin sat quietly on the living room sofa, waiting for his arrival. Today was the day of their divorce.

The sound of a car engine echoed in the courtyard, and soon, Fu Siyue strode in.

Dressed in a black suit, the man exuded an air of nobility and elegance that couldn’t be concealed, his features sharp and handsome, his eyes deep and inscrutable. Yet when Mu Yinyin caught sight of a faint crease at his cuff, she curled her lips—he must have spent the night at the hospital with Nan Shiqing. Otherwise, with his obsessive fastidiousness and pursuit of perfection, there would never be a single flaw.

Fu Siyue walked up, his thin lips curving into a sharp, cold line as he tossed a divorce agreement before her.

“Sign it.” His voice was absolute, brooking no argument.

A flash of irony crossed Mu Yinyin’s eyes. That was just like him...

Three years, and all her feelings had gone to waste.

Feigning grievance to disgust him, she deliberately cooed, “Darling, you’re really so heartless.”

Fu Siyue’s brow creased with annoyance. “I don’t want to repeat myself.”

Mu Yinyin smiled with bitter mockery. She glanced at the agreement—he was even giving her two seaside villas. She pulled a pen from the coffee table drawer and, with a flick, crossed them out.

Surprise flickered in Fu Siyue’s cold gaze, but in the next instant, his brows knitted, danger brewing in his low voice. “What trick are you playing now?”

Mu Yinyin’s lips curved slowly.

He was so cruel—of course, she had prepared a parting gift for him.

She lifted her gaze to the man, her smile tinged with mockery. “I never had even a sliver of your affection—what use have I for lifeless things?”

Fu Siyue frowned, just about to speak when Mu Yinyin cut in, “Don’t worry, I’ll sign.”

With that, three graceful, bold characters appeared on the page before him.

Today, Mu Yinyin was obedient, as if she had become a different person. He suspected a ruse, but the ink on white paper was irrefutable.

Fu Siyue pressed his lips together, inexplicably agitated.

Mu Yinyin raised her eyes to his sullen face, and with a dazzling smile said, “Husband, in these three years, did you ever—”

She was interrupted by the sudden ringing of his phone.

Fu Siyue glanced at the caller ID and instantly answered, tense. “Shiqing.”

Mu Yinyin’s lips curled, the last three words—‘ever love me’—left unsaid.

The gentle tone he reserved for another woman gave her all the answer she needed. From today on, she could finally lay all her hopes to rest.

“All right, don’t move. I’ll be right there.”

As soon as he hung up and took a step forward, Mu Yinyin smiled with subtle meaning. “Mr. Fu, did I say you could leave?”

Fu Siyue halted, glaring at her with contempt. “What right do you have?”

No sooner had the words left his mouth than a wave of dizziness swept over him.

As he fumbled for his phone, Mu Yinyin rose slowly and, with sudden force, shoved him in the chest.

Bang!

Fu Siyue collapsed back onto the sofa, utterly unprepared. His face turned an ugly shade of green.

“Mu! Yin! Yin!”

Mu Yinyin beamed at him, her smile radiant. “Don’t worry, there’ll be plenty of chances for you to beg like a dog later.”

Fu Siyue: “...”

His fierce gaze looked as if he could pierce her through.

Even now, he had no idea how she’d managed to lay a hand on him.

Mu Yinyin slowly raised her hand and tugged at his tie.

The hand he lifted in protest was effortlessly brushed aside.

With the man’s eyes blazing, she laughed seductively, “Aren’t you a germaphobe?”

Rip!

With a violent pull, Mu Yinyin tore off his tie and shirt, exposing his sculpted chest and abs. She licked her red lips, wanton and wicked, her allure making Fu Siyue’s throat tighten, his gaze darkening.

Yes, he must have been drugged.

Mu Yinyin’s slender fingers trailed over his body, her tone unhurried. “No matter how high you stand, today you’re still at my mercy. No matter how much I disgust you, you’ll just have to bear it. Fu Siyue, I’ve endured you for three years. It’s time I collected some interest.”

Veins bulged at Fu Siyue’s temple. He roared at her, “Mu Yinyin, this is your last chance! Get out!”

“Why would I want a chance?” she replied softly, “Tonight, all I want is... you.”

With that, her hand went straight to his belt. Click.

“Mu Yinyin!”

Mu Yinyin’s laughter grew brighter. “Go ahead, yell. It’s just the two of us here—shout until your voice breaks, no one will come.”

Fu Siyue: “...”

He struggled, but was powerless to resist.

In the end, Mu Yinyin stripped him bare.

Through gritted teeth, Fu Siyue spat, “Mu Yinyin, I’m going to kill you!”

Mu Yinyin smiled faintly. “Even with all your power, you can’t cover the sky with one hand, can you? Besides, we’re still husband and wife, aren’t we?”

As she spoke, her finger poked him twice more. “Hmm, not bad elasticity.”

Fu Siyue: “!!!”

In the midst of her teasing, Fu Siyue lost consciousness.

With a cold snort, Mu Yinyin withdrew her hand.

She gazed at the man, now sleeping peacefully, and curled her lips. These three years—she might as well have fed her youth to the dogs.

Lifting her head slightly, she looked around at the familiar furnishings. The mask on her face dropped, and her eyes grew moist at the corners. Three years—farewell.

Farewell, Fu Siyue.

...

When Fu Siyue woke, his entire body felt chilled. Realizing he wore not a stitch of clothing, his face darkened to an ugly shade.

Mu Yinyin!

He hurriedly dressed, and as he turned, spotted an A4 sheet and a ten-yuan bill left nearby.

She’d written in large, bold script, filling the entire page, as though to humiliate him to the utmost.

—Mu Yinyin: “Now I understand why in three years of marriage, President Fu never touched me. With these skills, here’s ten yuan for old times’ sake. Never see you again.”

Bang!

He smashed the cup on the table into pieces.

“Mu! Yin! Yin!” Fu Siyue’s voice was a low growl, as if he could tear her apart on the spot.

Suddenly, his phone rang. With a face like thunder, Fu Siyue answered.

“President Fu, there’s one hour until the meeting. Do you have any instructions?”

“Find Mu Yinyin. Tie her up and bring her to me!”

Assistant: “...???”

The abrupt hang-up left the assistant completely bewildered.

One hour later.

The conference room.

Everyone saw Fu Siyue stride in, his face grim as death. A cold sweat broke out on every brow, and there was only one thought in everyone’s mind.

We’re doomed!

With his arrival, the temperature in the room seemed to plummet. No one dared so much as breathe.

His sharp gaze swept across the assembled staff. His voice was chilling. “I don’t want to hear a single word of nonsense.”

Everyone: “...”

If we say nothing, is that still nonsense?

Could we just play dead?

But business had to proceed. Everyone could see President Fu’s mood was beyond terrible.

One proposal after another was shot down. Fu Siyue’s patience ran out. At last, he snapped, “Redo all of them. If you can’t submit a satisfactory plan in three days, get out of Fu Corporation!”

With that, he strode out without another word.

...

The next day.

After returning to her villa and tidying up, Mu Yinyin received an MMS. Seeing the unfamiliar number, a sneer played about her lips.

In the photo, a man rested with his eyes closed while a woman nestled in his arms.

Her half-sister—her father’s child by another woman—had stolen her husband, and now she’d come to flaunt it?

The phone rang. Mu Yinyin answered.

“Nan Shiqing.”

Years ago, she’d believed they were the closest sisters in the world. But after that terrible fire, she’d learned how laughable that was.

Nan Shiqing schemed against her at every turn, stole everything from her—and yet always played the innocent.

“Sis, I’m awake now. Aren’t you going to visit me? I really miss you...”

Mu Yinyin chuckled softly, saying nothing.

Such longing was worthless.

“Sis, won’t you come to the hospital? I really want to see you. And about the photo—I have something to say.”

Mu Yinyin snorted coldly. “Even if you hadn’t sought me out, I have something important to discuss with you.”
