After the nineteenth gray-white werewolf was killed by Ang Yi Ming in a desperate struggle, the battered Ang finally could bear no more. He dropped to one knee, gasping for breath.

“Is this really your limit? You managed to kill nineteen of your own kind—I've got to admit, I’m impressed. As expected from a wild dog; your vitality is indeed tenacious,” Bai Ye remarked appreciatively, eyeing the several potentially fatal wounds on Ang. Even an ordinary vampire would have perished long ago under such injuries. Yet, despite his weakened state, Ang knelt on the ground without any immediate threat to his life.

“There are many more things that will surprise you. Don’t make such a fuss over this little matter,” Ang lifted his wolfish head, now more ferocious with blood, and said between breaths.

“Hmph! Perhaps. But I doubt I’ll get to see them, because I absolutely refuse to be surprised by a dead man,” Bai Ye said coldly to Ang. “You’ve wasted so much of my time; you can be proud of that. Now, you’ll obediently die. I have to go meet Liliana—I don’t have time to waste here with you.” With that, Bai Ye’s sharp claws mercilessly pierced Ang’s heart, who had lost all ability to resist. When Bai Ye withdrew his hand, the still-beating heart lay clenched in his palm. “Farewell, wild dog.”

Ang’s eyes rapidly lost their life as he collapsed heavily to the ground. Bai Ye crushed the heart in his hand, then turned away without glancing back at the corpse. The gray-white world shattered instantly, leaving only Ang’s cold, lifeless body lying alone.

“Lord Ang!” Seeing Ang’s fallen form, Xue Lan cried out in disbelief, her eyes brimming with sorrow.

“Don’t get worked up. I’ll send you to see him soon enough. Whatever you want to say, say it when you meet him in the other world,” Bai Ye said coldly, intoxicated with cruelty. “I wonder what expression Liliana will have when she hears about your deaths. Truly, I look forward to it.”

“You bastard, despicable creature. Princess Liliana will never let you go,” Xue Lan said venomously, staring at Bai Ye.

“That’s wonderful. I have no intention of sparing her either,” Bai Ye smiled slyly. “I will keep her by my side forever. Never to be separated again.” He stepped before Xue Lan, showing no mercy to the defenseless woman. His voice was icy: “Now, you too can die. Go to the other world and accompany that useless one and that wild dog.” Bai Ye raised his claws, wearing a sinister smile as he swung swiftly toward Xue Lan’s heart.

But before Bai Ye’s claws could touch her, a strong gust of wind roared behind him. Suddenly, a figure appeared from the shadows, launching a surprise attack. If Bai Ye didn’t defend himself, he would undoubtedly be killed. Abandoning his plan to kill Xue Lan, Bai Ye lunged forward, hoping to evade the strike from behind.

“Bang!” Although Bai Ye reacted quickly, he couldn’t fully dodge the sneak attack. A tremendous force slammed into his back, propelling him through the air and crashing him against a dozen walls.

Moments later, Bai Ye staggered out from the dust, blood staining the corner of his mouth. A massive gaping wound marred his right shoulder.

“Damn it! Who’s there?” Bai Ye growled angrily, glaring at his attacker. Then his eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at the figure before him.

The massive body, rippling with powerful muscles, silver-white fur matted with blood, and a ferocious wolf’s head—Ang, who should have been dead on the ground, now stood perfectly intact before Bai Ye. If not for the fresh blood staining him and the vanished wound where Bai Ye had pierced and crushed his heart, no one would have guessed he had just survived a deadly battle.

“You dodged the heart strike? You’re quick, little one. What a pity,” Ang said with a grim smile.

“Why? Weren’t you dead? Damn wild dog, why are you standing before me again?” Bai Ye roared in fury, the wound on his back driving him to madness.

“Didn’t I say? There are many more things to surprise you. Don’t be so shocked by such trivial things,” Ang smiled. “You’re still too green. Werewolves’ immortality isn’t so easy to overcome.”

“Damn wild dog! If I can’t kill you once, I’ll kill you ten times. If ten times isn’t enough, then a hundred times! Let’s see how many times you can come back!” Bai Ye shouted in rage. “Domain—Gray-White World!” The gray-white realm once again enveloped Ang, and the massive gray-white werewolf charged at him, roaring fearlessly.

“Heh, as I said, there are many surprises yet. Let me astonish you again,” Ang called out indifferently to the charging werewolf. Clenching his fists, his muscles bulged. “Awoooo!” A howl echoed through the night.

“First Domain—Domain of Strength!” “Second Domain—Domain of Speed!” “Third Domain—Domain of Magic Suppression!” As Ang’s roar rang out, golden, blue, and gray lights shimmered from him, enveloping a three-meter radius around him. The gray-white werewolf charging at Ang vanished instantly upon touching the domain, as if it had never existed.

“What? How can this be?” Bai Ye stared in shock at the vanished gray-white werewolf. He suddenly felt his own domain disappear upon contact with Ang’s. At this moment, Ang had broken free from Bai Ye’s domain.

“Well? Not bad, right? I brought a few surprises,” Ang smiled and said to Bai Ye. “I was once known as the Silver Slayer of Demons. No matter how powerful your domain, it ultimately relies on your magic. In my domain, no magic can exist. It’s a world of absolute strength. To defeat me, you must utterly overpower me with strength. Come on, little one, you want to kill me? Let’s see who truly reigns in power!” Ang shouted excitedly and charged at Bai Ye. Wherever he passed, Bai Ye’s gray-white domain shattered. No matter how quickly Bai Ye repaired it, he could not penetrate the three-meter radius around Ang.

“Damn wild dog! I don’t care what domain you have. I am the king. How could I lose to a mere wild dog? Die!” Bai Ye roared and lunged at Ang. His gray-white domain shattered instantly. Bai Ye drew all his power back into his body; his hands glowed with a bloody light, claws gleaming with a black, ghostly sheen, like indestructible blades.

“Bang!” Bai Ye and Ang collided heavily, a thunderous roar erupting, kicking up countless clouds of dust that obscured them both.

Xue Lan anxiously looked toward the battle but could see nothing, only hearing Bai Ye and Ang’s furious roars from within the dust. Time passed, and finally, all was silent; their voices vanished completely. Xue Lan stared motionless at the battleground, anxiously awaiting the outcome.

Gradually, the dust began to settle, revealing the scene beneath. A huge crater lay where they had fought, with the two standing silently on opposite edges, motionless.

“Cough, cough!” Ang suddenly coughed violently, blood spraying from his mouth.

Bai Ye, on the other side, gasped for air, a deep, bone-exposing wound tearing his right shoulder almost clean off. A blood hole pierced through his right back and chest, and a claw slash across his abdomen gushed fresh blood.

“Hahaha!” Bai Ye laughed wildly despite his battered state. “Wild dog, in the end, I still won. I am the true victor.”

“Cough, cough, cough!” Ang coughed up more blood, his body trembling until he could no longer stand and collapsed. “I didn’t expect to lose,” Ang said with a bitter smile as his body began to shrink. Under his grave injuries, he could no longer maintain his werewolf form and reverted to his human shape.

“Hmph!” Bai Ye, battered but victorious, struggled forward step by step. Each step left a trail of blood on the ground. “Let’s see if you can still revive after I cut off your dog’s head this time!” Bai Ye finally reached Ang’s side and raised his left claw high, ready to strike Ang’s head.

“Lord Ang!” Xue Lan cried anxiously. But her grievous injuries prevented her from moving forward to save him; she could only watch helplessly as Bai Ye’s claw swung toward Ang’s head.

“Ah!” Suddenly, a piercing scream escaped Bai Ye’s mouth.

Xue Lan stared in shock as a huge, jet-black scythe appeared from the void, slashing in a sweeping arc and severing Bai Ye’s claw from his shoulder. The scythe then plunged into the ground before Bai Ye.

“Star Whisper!” Xue Lan exclaimed with delight upon seeing the sudden appearance of the massive black scythe.

“Impossible!” Bai Ye growled, blood spurting from his left shoulder as he clenched his teeth in pain.

“Ang, if I had arrived any later, I’d never have seen you again,” a melodious female voice came from the void.

Hearing the voice, Bai Ye, despite his severed left arm, momentarily forgot his pain and stared blankly toward the source.

From the shimmering void nearby, a figure emerged, exuding noble grace. Silver hair cascaded to her waist; her deep black eyes held the depth of the night sky. Her exquisite, flawless face framed by a jet-black dress. In her right hand, she carried a person, stepping quietly from the void.

“Xue Lan, long time no see. I’m glad to see you still alive,” she smiled gently at Xue Lan, then turned toward Bai Ye. “Bai Ye, I have returned!”
